Inside Cleveland's Fidelity Hotel: Is This Downtown Cleveland's Best Boutique Hotel?

When I think of boutique hotels, my mind usually goes to places like New York, Chicago, or somewhere overseas, not a couple of hours away in Cleveland.

So I'll be honest... I wasn't exactly sure what to expect when I checked into the Fidelity Hotel.

But after spending two nights here, I completely got the hype.

If you know me, you know I pay attention to the little details, and this hotel was full of them. From the artwork throughout the building to the vintage-inspired phone sitting on the nightstand, it honestly felt like something out of a movie.

If you're planning a trip to Cleveland and wondering if Fidelity Hotel is worth booking, here's everything I loved about my stay.

First Impressions

From the moment I walked into the lobby, I could already tell this wasn't going to be your typical hotel.

The lobby has a small lounge area that immediately makes you want to sit down for a while, whether you're waiting to check in or just hanging out before heading out for the day. Right next to it is Club Room, the hotel's restaurant, so everything flows together really nicely.

But what stood out to me most was the design.

Not a detail was missed. Everywhere I looked, there was beautiful artwork, unique décor, and little touches that made the hotel feel different from anywhere else I've stayed in Ohio.

One of my favorite details was the vintage-inspired phone in the room. It almost looked too pretty to actually use, but yes... that's how you call the front desk.

The Room

The room itself was exactly what I wanted after spending the day exploring Cleveland.

It was clean, comfortable, and so quiet that I honestly started wondering if anyone else was staying on our floor. Coming back at the end of the day felt so peaceful.

And can we talk about the bathroom for a second?

If you're anything like me, you know a bathroom can make or break a hotel stay. Thankfully, this one definitely didn't disappoint. It was spacious, beautiful, and one of my favorite parts of the room.

Between the gold hardware, the décor, and all the little details throughout the space, it really felt like they put a lot of effort into making every room feel special.

The Location Made Exploring So Easy

Out of everything, I think the location ended up being my favorite part.

Fidelity Hotel is right in the heart of downtown Cleveland, and I don't think they could've picked a better spot.

We were able to walk to places like The Arcade, Playhouse Square, restaurants, coffee shops, and so much more without constantly getting back in the car.

I always appreciate when a hotel is actually close to the places you want to visit, and Fidelity made exploring downtown Cleveland so easy.

If you're visiting Cleveland for the first time, I honestly think this is one of the best areas to stay.

Dinner at Club Room

One of the best parts about staying at Fidelity Hotel is that you don't even have to leave the building for a really good dinner.

Club Room, the hotel's restaurant, serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and we ended up having one of our favorite meals of the entire trip there.

The restaurant is beautiful, especially if you can grab a table by the window overlooking downtown. The food was amazing, the service was great, and it was the perfect way to end a day of exploring the city.

Who I Think Would Love Staying Here

I think Fidelity Hotel is perfect if you're planning:

• A weekend getaway to Cleveland
• A girls' trip
• A date weekend
• A birthday celebration
• Or honestly, if you just love staying somewhere that feels a little different from the usual hotel chains.

For my Columbus girlies, Cleveland is only about a two-hour drive, which makes this such an easy weekend trip.

Is Fidelity Hotel Worth It?

For me, definitely.

I'll admit, I wasn't expecting to find a hotel like this in downtown Cleveland, but Fidelity completely changed that.

The hotel was beautiful, the room was quiet, the location made exploring the city so easy, and every little detail made the stay feel that much more special.

By the time checkout came around, I wasn't ready to leave.

So if you're looking for a boutique hotel in downtown Cleveland that's beautiful, walkable, and makes your trip feel a little more special, I'd definitely recommend adding Fidelity Hotel to your list.
